In particular circumstances, we require applicants to complete a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Enhanced Disclosure Application. Their identity details are then run through a process which involves the National Police Computer and the Children’s Barred List.
The papers of every applicant are double-checked against key international databases, including the website of the Public Register of Authentic Identity and Travel Documents.
