2025 Gender Pay Gap

Gender Pay Statement

At Glenn Cleaning & Support Services, we are committed to transparency, fairness, and continuous improvement in how we support and reward our people.

Our April 2025 gender pay gap data shows that women earned 96p for every £1 earned by men (median hourly pay), with a mean hourly pay gap of 9.6%. Women represent 65.8% of our workforce and continue to play a vital role at every level of our organisation.

We are encouraged by the balance in our highest pay quartile, where 51.1% of employees are women. However, the proportion of women increases in the lower quartiles — rising to 70.2% in the lower middle and 62.5% in the lowest. This distribution reflects broader sector patterns, where part-time and flexible roles — often dictated by client needs — attract more women.

Bonus pay results show a mixed picture: while the median bonus for women is significantly higher than that for men, the mean figure reveals a gap in the opposite direction. This variation is influenced by the structure and size of bonuses across different roles. We are reviewing our bonus framework to ensure consistency and equity in how bonuses are awarded.

We understand that meaningful progress requires more than just reporting. That’s why we continue to invest in career pathways, training, and inclusive practices to support gender balance across all areas of the business. Our focus remains on building a workplace where everyone, regardless of gender, has equal opportunity to thrive and succeed.
