Time & Attendance

While we choose our workforce with extreme care and circumspection, we need to know that they are where they are, when they should be.

Using the latest technology, we make sure that the service that we promise our customers is actually being delivered on the ground. Much of the time, our staff actually exceed their contractual obligations. But if for any reason, an individual should fall short of expectations, then we know about it immediately.

If work is to be carried out to a satisfactory standard, it is essential that our staff work their full, contracted hours.

 All of our people are required to comply with our computerised time and attendance recording software, which registers the precise amount of time each spends on-site.

The Staff Check system, like our quality control software, was developed by market leaders Innovise.

Every employee dials into our computer and enters a unique reference number.  Their check-in time is recorded and any voice messages are automatically conveyed.  This process is completed when they finish their duties and their precise check-out time is recorded.

Staff Checker cross-references the site’s telephone number to ensure that employees are checking in from the correct location. It uses voice verification software to ensure that the employee is not being checked in by a colleague.  The system can even be programmed to call the site to ensure that staff are actually on the premises.

Should an operative fail to check in or out within a specified time, the system will automatically page the responsible Operations Manager, allowing us to maintain a proactive approach to staff management.

The benefits in terms of thoroughness, timeliness and value for money are important. However, it must be said that thanks to our rigorous and discerning recruitment policy, the great proportion of our employees are conscientious beyond the call of duty and will often work more than their contracted hours to complete a job to their satisfaction, this system allows us to identify this and reward these valuable team members
