Over 25,000 visitors take a trip to Hook Norton Brewery every year, to sip on award-winning beers and experience British heritage at its finest.
The prestigious Hook Norton Brewery includes a Cellar Room, a Visitor Centre Shop and café, and with a new restaurant scheduled to open later this year, it is a gem in the hills of the Cotswolds.
The various spaces of the brewery, of which have different requirements, demand a commitment to high health and safety standards and an understanding of operating in a public facing place.
In a recent pitch, Glenn Cleaning and Support Services won the business of Hook Norton Brewery and now has the provision of cleaning and servicing the hustling environment. We believe that we won the Hook Norton Brewery pitch on the outstanding attributes we continue to provide to our clients, new and old.
The brewery is a family-owned enterprise and because of their tourist-friendly location (not to mention their range of hand-crafted ales and beers!) they attract many visitors to their premises. Almost uniquely in this modern age, the brewery’s products are delivered to local pubs by horse-drawn drays.
Fortunately, Glenn has long experience of working in environments with a public interface. Our staff members are specifically trained to be discrete and sensitive in their interactions with customers. At our best, we’re virtually invisible.
Given the degree of public access, the condition of the brewery premises themselves are an advertisement for the quality of its products. And so our insistence on an immaculate standard of work will contribute much more than basic cleanliness and hygiene, and will directly enhance their business.
Unlike some of our competitors, we have proven expertise in many different areas of cleaning and maintenance. The Hook Norton Brewery is a working industrial unit, a commercial office environment, a retail outlet and a tourist attraction, all rolled into one. Our experience allows us to operate effortlessly across this spectrum of different needs and requirements.
During our pitch, we made it clear that we were familiar with the specialised products and equipment necessary to service the various aspects of the client’s premises.
However, we didn’t win the Hook Norton business because we’re some kind of ‘boutique’ cleaning service. Many of our clients are large companies and public organisations, and Hook Norton will benefit from just the same skills and aptitudes that have made us such a formidable force at this end of the market.
So while we were delighted to be able to add the Hook Norton Brewery to our list of clients, we weren’t exactly surprised. In a word, we ticked all the right boxes while adding some extra ones of our own.
‘We have been chosen for our proven and demonstrable ability to consistently deliver a high-quality service that will guarantee the best possible experience for both brewery staff and almost 30,000 visitors to this iconic site each year.’
